Brace and Browns
“I had them all, completely, utterly, in the palm of my hand. And my god did I want them.”
A stalker, a footballer and a party boy walk into a bar. They have stories and you want to hear them.
An immersive explosion of dark comedy, this hour will leave you feeling powerful, powerless and just a little bit voyeuristic.
SCRATCHINGS is a series of monologues exploring themes of obsession, suppression, regret and rebellion. The characters have come to this pub, just like you, and will perform amongst the tables in the back room of the Alma Tavern. This new-and-improved site-specific experience is coming to Bristol after a sell-out performance in St Andrews and a 5-star run at the Edinburgh Fringe.
"Written in collaboration with her actors, the piece is a refreshing and authentic theatrical project which celebrates the wells of meaning within ‘ordinariness’." The Reviews Hub
"Stripped back from technological fanfare, the mix of fantastic writing and performing make this a five-star show!" Theatre Scotland
